Job Title: Senior Scrum Master

Location: Brussels

Start Date: 10/08/2026

End Date: 31/08/2027

Role Description:

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join the Artificial Intelligence tribe. The ideal candidate will have experience working with off-shore partners, particularly in India, to facilitate the transfer of activities. The role involves growing the squad and ensuring a balance between run and change activities, with a focus on transferring existing run and lifecycle management activities to allow local teams to implement the target vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
  • Schedule and follow key steps of the methodology.
  • Ensure smooth use of the Scrum methodology and assist the Project Team in overcoming obstacles.
  • Provide support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog.
  • Assist the team in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
  • Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
  • Coach and challenge the Project Team to promote self-organization.
  • Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from distractions.
  • Act as an ambassador of agile methods within the company.
  • Report on the deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects.

Language Requirements:

Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate with both local and off-shore teams.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.

Agile Requirements:

Agile teams are cross-functional, with all required disciplines represented. Team members are expected to take on other roles and contribute to other disciplines as needed.

Required Experience/Knowledge:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
  • Sound knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.

Business Experience:

Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g., Kanban).
