About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager / People Manager to lead multiple Agile and self-organising teams within a complex ICT environment.

The role is divided approximately 50% People Management and 50% Service Delivery. You will be responsible for several Agile teams, representing approximately 20 people, and will report directly to the ICT department director.

The position combines people leadership, service delivery, strategic coordination and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of strategic and critical ICT projects.

Key Responsibilities

People Management

  • Lead, coach and motivate Agile and self-organising teams to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Provide on-the-job and remote coaching to employees.
  • Allocate responsibilities based on the competencies and strengths of team members.
  • Evaluate and support the professional development of employees.
  • Determine the resources and competencies required to successfully deliver projects.
  • Foster collaboration, engagement and a strong team culture.
  • Develop an inspiring leadership style and act as a trusted People Manager and coach.

Service Delivery Management

  • Manage and coordinate multiple Agile teams and ensure successful delivery of projects and activities.
  • Ensure projects are followed up according to agreed objectives, timelines and commitments.
  • Continuously improve the services delivered to internal customers.
  • Ensure an accessible and customer-oriented service based on clear agreements regarding:
    • Services to be delivered
    • Service levels
    • Associated costs
  • Monitor delivery performance and take corrective action where required.
  • Coordinate activities related to the strategic roadmap of the domain.

Strategic & ICT Leadership

  • Contribute to the overall ICT department strategy and policy.
  • Help define common ICT priorities across the organisation.
  • Provide strong ICT leadership based on a broad understanding of technology and business needs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of strategic and critical projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Coordinate initiatives across different teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the continuous optimisation of ICT processes and services.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI solutions to accelerate ICT activities.

Technology Environment

The role requires a broad understanding of different technology stacks, including:

  • Java
  • OutSystems / Low-code
  • Legacy technologies
  • AI solutions and their application within ICT activities
  • Agile delivery environments

You do not necessarily need to be a hands-on specialist in every technology, but you should have a strong general ICT understanding and the ability to work effectively across different technology domains.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in ICT / Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within complex ICT organisations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a People Management role within a large organisation or company.
  • Proven experience delivering strategic and critical projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong experience with different technology stacks, including Java, OutSystems/Low-code and legacy technologies.
  • Experience with AI solutions aimed at accelerating ICT activities.
  • Experience coaching employees both on-site and remotely.
  • Strong understanding of service delivery principles and customer-oriented IT services.
  • Experience managing resources, priorities and strategic roadmaps.
