Mission description:
Our Group encompasses two major transmission system operators (TSOs) in two European regions: Our Transmission in Belgium and 50Hertz Transmission, one of the four German TSOs in North-East Germany. Both TSOs operate at the heart of the European electricity system as they provide vital links between the various electricity producers and their 30 million end users. The Group’s high voltage network, with its intricately meshed 18,600 km grid, transports the electricity generated by the producers to the distribution system operators and major industrial consumers. In addition, interconnectors with several neighboring countries allow electricity trade in wider European energy markets. As a group we offer you at our Headquarters in Berlin the following position within our Digital & Data department.
Service description:
Our  Team is looking for a Governance /compliancy & Service Delivery Manger to support our IT Infrastructure Operational teams and to increase the quality of our Services delivered to our internal customers. This is about a combined function (1FTE).
The Governance /Compliancy & Service Delivery manager will assist and support the Server Team competence Center leads and will report to the Server Team Responsible.
  • Owning  and managing the Server team portfolio (offered services)
    • Being the spoc to our Stakeholders for the evolution of our portfolio
  • Follow up on  new and existing regulations (Legal) both for Belgium and Germany
    • Translate these into processes/workflows within our organization
    • Monitor and report on these processes
  • Being the Spoc for Internal and External organized audits
    • Financial, Security, Availability - readiness, Licenses ….
  • Being responsible for emergency (Disaster recovery) procedures
    • Creation , evolution , testing , reporting
  • Fulfilling the role as Service Delivery & Compliancy mgr
    • Monitor – follow up on Service Level Agreements
    • Further develop of SLA’s , Service requests & incident workflows
    • Follow up on escalations  (after incidents for ex)
    • Identification of recommendations for necessary adjustments as well as initiation of suitable measures in regards to service delivery and compliancy
    • Responsibility for improvement plans and ensuring that these are regularly checked and further developed for one or more complex IT services
    • Provision and analysis more relevant Reports (e.g. evidence of performance, controlling, compliancy etc ) including presentation of results as well as process initiation of measures, participation in the continuous improvement of service delivery standards (SIP)

Technical skills
  • Mandatory :
    • Having a good and wide understanding of IT infrastructure services in an Enterprise environment.
    • A bachelor (or master) degree.
    • Strong experience with ITIL disciplines.

Non-technical skills
  • Proven Governance and Compliancy experience (> 3 year) in enterprise organizations ( > 500 users).
  • Full pro-active working approach (you identify issues on your own, propose solutions and coordinate the resolution).
  • Strong customer oriented mentality.
  • Strong teamwork skills and must be able to work independently.
  • Strong communicating skills.
  • Languages : English
    • German – French – Dutch is a plus (one of this three is mandatory)
  • Must have strong organizational skills and able to cope with stress.
  • Able to write and validate processes and documentation.
  • You are flexible and don’t have a 9/5 mentality.

Additional information:
  • Start: as from September/October 2022
  • End: Until 29/02/2024, with the possibility of extension.
  • Work regime: full time or 4/5.
Location: Working location will be in Brussel.
