For a client we are seeking a Senior UX Writer (French)

Start Date: February 2025
End Date: July 2025
Work Regime: 3/5 (with 2 days of home office)

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit clear, concise, and user-centric UI text, including microcopy, error messages, and user instructions throughout the development life cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly copy aligned with design and product goals.
• Iterate and adjust UX copy based on user feedback from user tests.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all UX copy.
• Rephrase copy written by Dutch colleagues in French.
• Update and maintain the content database with your copy.
• Develop and maintain UX copy guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across products.
• Work closely with designers, product experts, and developers to integrate text seamlessly into designs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UX Writer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX Writing examples.
• Familiarity with UX & UI fundamentals and mobile-first principles.
• Experience collaborating with conceptual thinkers in various domains (e.g., Concept designers, UX-UI designers).
• Experience working with design teams.

Skills:

• Stellar writing skills in French.
• Fluent in Dutch (B2/C1 or above) and English (B1/B2-level or above).
• Ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize effectively.
• Team player with leadership qualities, open to feedback, and capable of balancing stakeholder needs.
• Ability to share insights on improving UX copy approaches and defend your point of view.
• Creativity, proactivity, and solution-oriented mindset within project constraints.
• Independent worker with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to flexible demands.

Experience:

Candidates should have relevant experience in UX Writing or a related field.
