Medior Test Analyst Position

Mission:

Organized, proactive, and result-driven, the Digital Test Analyst operates within the B2B digital domain. You will be closely involved in the build activities of your B2B Digital Scrum team and play an important role in ensuring that the quality of the new digital B2B developments meets company standards. From an end-user and business-user perspective, you will participate in most of the activities of the scrum team. You will lead, prepare, and execute the necessary testing steps to guarantee that the features and user stories developed by the team meet the entry criteria for Regression Testing and can be deployed in the Acceptance environment and eventually in Production.

Tasks:

• Review epics, features, and user stories with the B2B Process Analyst/B2B Digital Business Owner, analyze acceptance criteria and business rules, and clarify ambiguities in business requirements.
• Work closely with the team to identify test conditions, risks, and dependencies, ensuring user stories meet the definition of ready from a testing perspective.
• Contribute to PI and sprint planning.
• Estimate (in Story Points) the effort needed to test features and user stories from a sprint.
• Reduce doubts and questions developers often have while coding.
• Ensure all pre-requisites are met to allow testing to start: sufficient and relevant test data are available, the testing environment is available, up and running (DTAP), and connections between all technologies are working.
• Create or select test cases relevant for ongoing development.
• Execute functional and integration tests with the support of developers and analysts in the scrum team.
• Ensure regression testing entry criteria are met at the end of the sprint.
• Follow standard testing methodology (Agile MVP test approach).
• Upload test evidence in Jira, log and report defects, assess severity and business impact.
• Retest fixes and escalate issues when needed.
• Consider potential workarounds when defect resolution cannot be met in due time.
• Organize face-to-face demos for new features and functionality.
• Work to meet sprint schedules, timelines, and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for test automation.
• Participate in go/no-go decisions based on figures and facts.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonials such as daily scrums and sprint retrospectives.
• Protect system stability during deployments by leading or contributing to Regression Testing cycles.
• Validate that user stories meet exit criteria.
• Assess readiness for acceptance environment and production release.
• Support go/no-go decisions with clear quality insights.
• Assist regression team if automated cases need adaptation to new functionality.
• Be the SPOC for the regression test team during regression testing.
• Provide visibility into testing progress and system quality.
• Organize external intervention if needed for testing.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in testing practices, preferably in an Agile delivery environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong affinity and understanding of modern Test technology solutions (e.g., Test automation on its different levels, Test data management tooling).
• Affinity or testing experience in Web, Mobile Application, and UX in general.
• Experience in reading and understanding BPMN process flows.
• Experience with business tools is a big plus.
