SAP Licensing & Contract Assistance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Achieve a comprehensive understanding of the current SAP license consumption and explore future contractual possibilities.
• Support the decision-making process regarding SAP licensing and contracts.
• Analyze the current SAP Framework agreement and its components, including SAP ECC, SAP Applications, and developments.
• Prepare for contractual renegotiation or migration to more recent SAP products.
• Identify and address the right contractual and future-proof agreements with SAP.
• Create an SAP license baseline reflecting actual usage and identify possible optimizations and risks.
• Conduct a thorough contractual analysis to identify key clauses, terms, and conditions relevant to current SAP usage.
• Provide an overview of considerations in SAP contracts, including legal, operational, financial, and licensing aspects.
• Strategize an approach to engage with SAP, outlining desired products, key clauses, and feedback on proposals.

Project Phases:

1. SAP Baseline Creation:
   • Perform data collection and processing.
   • Conduct license calculation and compliance reconciliation.
   • Present results to stakeholders and management.
2. SAP Contracting Insights & Considerations:
   • Review contractual use rights, terms, and conditions.
   • List key considerations and clauses.
   • Highlight SAP S4/HANA contract do’s, don’ts, and pitfalls.
3. Sourcing & Procurement Approach:
   • Develop an overall approach to SAP discussions.
   • Identify key factors for SAP S4/HANA.
4. SAP Sourcing & Procurement Support:
   • Support in preparing the SAP sourcing approach and strategy.
   • Provide benchmarking and feedback during negotiations.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in SAP software licensing and contracting.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize SAP license usage.
• Experience in conducting contractual analysis and identifying key clauses.
• Ability to strategize and engage effectively with SAP stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Dutch or French and English.
