Job Title: IT DevOps Coach

Mission Context:

We are looking for a DevOps Coach expert to enhance the way of working within the IT organization. The goal is to provide product development teams with maximum autonomy in developing, testing, and deploying applications. The DevOps Coach will guide these teams in adopting best practices for application development, testing, deployment, and release. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the SDLC, strong technical skills, and effective coaching abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Train and assist teams in analyzing their current situation and building improvement plans using services such as:
  • Software craftsmanship
  • BDD/TDD
  • CI/CD
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Agile Testing
  • Gherkin (DSL)
  • Trunk base development
• Collaborate with squads and other DevOps coaches to enhance processes.
• Identify and resolve key pain points in the process.
• Facilitate relationships with tools teams and ensure development teams use tools correctly.
• Stay updated on industry standards and propose improvements.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Very good knowledge
• English: Very good knowledge
• French: French and/or Dutch is an important plus for interactions with clients, co-workers, and external partners.

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• Experience in implementing continuous build, integration, and deployment systems.
• Strong development profile with proven coaching experience; good understanding of the SDLC.
• Experience working in or with Agile development teams.
• Technical experience in Agile frameworks, impact mapping, story mapping, example mapping.
• Experience in software development models and administration, setup, and maintenance of continuous build and integration platforms.
• Java development and build experience.
• Experience with source code (SVN/Git) and artifact repositories (Nexus).
• Experience with scripting languages for automation is preferable.
• Experience in code scanning tools (Sonar/Fortify) is a plus.
• Experience in mobile development tools for Android and iOS platforms is a plus.
• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
