Solution Architect
Location: Brussels
Mission Context:
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join the architecture team and support our digital transformation within an agile landscape. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture and the ability to work with existing systems while bringing innovative ideas to improve and transform our systems. The role requires a willingness to work within a large organization and handle the challenges associated with multiple structures.
Responsibilities:
- Support agile teams in delivering solutions for stakeholders.
- Work with systems and propose innovative improvements.
- Design architectures and frameworks.
- Document and address organization's data structure, solution architecture, and systems requirements throughout the full life cycle.
- Guide remote solution architects and act as a single point of contact for the local chief architect.
- Liaise between business, management, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
- TOGAF Certification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years (preferably 10) of multi-disciplined IT experience (development, analysis, etc.).
- 4-5 years of Solution Architecture responsibilities in large, sophisticated organizations with high volume/high transaction environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Experience with mobile apps and websites.
- Broad proven business knowledge.
- Previous experience with organizations that use mainframes (awareness required).
- Experience with advanced technologies such as machine learning, data mining, text mining, deep learning, and natural language processing.
Language Requirements:
- Dutch: Good
- French: Good
- English: Fluent in writing and speaking

- Ability to manage teleworking and make contact with different stakeholders.

- Quick self-starter.
- Good analytical and synthesis skills.
Telework Expectation:
50% on-site & 50% homeworking
Travel Requirements:
Must be willing to travel on occasion (1 day quarterly).
