Service Description:

We are looking for Data Engineers to join one of our product teams. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our corporate data organization and contribute to enhancing our customer management through qualitative data and services. The role involves creating data pipelines, efficient storage structures, powerful materialized views in various analytical technologies, and data exchange endpoints for users. Interaction with governance tools such as Glossary, Modeling, Lineage, or Data Quality is also expected.

Responsibilities and Activities:

• Implement solutions using on-premise data technologies stack from Microsoft (SSIS, SSAS, and SQL Server).

• Develop data pipelines using Azure services like Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Stream/log Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
• Create data pipelines or data enrichments with Python in a Databricks environment.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, or Apache Arrow.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and present reusable, integrated solutions.
• Contribute to extensive testing of solutions and reinforce DevOps principles within the team.
• Assist in writing and structuring documentation.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience (preferably 3 to 5 years) in at least 2 of the following categories:

  • Microsoft on-premise data technologies stack.
  • Azure services for data pipelines.
  • Python in Databricks environment.
• Ability to challenge interlocutors using rational thinking and a no-nonsense philosophy.
• Ability to view data transversally across the enterprise to maximize coherence, reuse, and adoption.
• Track record of driving results through continuous improvement.
• Customer-oriented thinking and iterative analytical approach to problem-solving.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English (must-have).

• Fluent in German/French or Dutch (soft requirement).
