In the development of electric mobility activities, we are looking for a Business Analyst to take ownership and control over current processes. As part of the evolution of the department, the processes are meant to change, and the Business Analyst will translate new business needs into requirements. The successful candidate will ensure that the requirements are captured, challenged, analyzed, and aligned with overarching goals. They will ensure the business is using the process as intended with documentation and support. The Business Analyst will work as part of the Electric Mobility team and will be responsible for the smooth preparation and implementation of business requests in a digital environment, as well as after-care activities towards the business.

Tasks:

• Support the EM digital roadmap definition and in-take preparation with the business.

• Define, challenge, and prioritize requirements with the business during the co-creation phase.
• Filter and prioritize demand from the business, including trade-offs during the in-take phase, balancing costs and benefits to best meet the objectives of each department.
• Support the business in the definition of business cases, including benefits and Total Cost of Ownership of the recommended solutions.
• Prepare and deliver a comprehensive and prioritized set of business requirements, eventual business KPIs, and business rules.
• Ensure alignment of all stakeholders through a co-creation phase, leading business analysis workshops.
• Contribute, on demand, to the definition of test scenarios.
• Translate business processes into technology requirements.
• Ensure information continuity on business requirements, both functional and non-functional, for the creation of software and application solutions (documentation, knowledge hand-over, etc.).
• Work in close collaboration with the business enterprise architect and/or IT enterprise architect to deliver solution models and solution architectures in line with business requirements and to deliver business value.
• Support the business in creating operational documentation related to current processes of ongoing projects.
• Create operational documentation to support the business regarding new improvements.

Background:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in an analytical role working on larger IT projects.

• Demonstrated successful experience in business and/or functional analysis, design, and implementation of change projects.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into solid functional specifications, based on a full understanding of the business context.
• Effective communication skills at all levels of the company.
• Experience in organizing and leading workshops.
• Ability to easily build constructive relationships and skilled in bringing different parties together in a co-creation spirit.
• Knowledge of Dutch or French, and English.
• Experience with Odoo is a big plus.
• Experience in contracting/billing and/or customer journey and/or field service is a plus.
