Software Solution Architect

Location: Brussels; 2 days onsite

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 31/12/2026 with the possibility of extension

Languages: Dutch/French and English

Responsibilities:

• Deliver working business solutions with a strong technical background in technology, IT platforms, architecture, connectivity, security, and risk.
• Apply architecture principles, patterns, and best practices in infrastructure, application, data, and integration.
• Work on application integrations and transformation processes.
• Monitor security, performance, and compliance guidelines in design processes.
• Make an impact within the domain to convey architecture.
• Share knowledge and learn continuously.
• Develop architectural solutions in an agile environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Software Solution Architect in a complex IT landscape.
• A relevant master’s degree.
• Fluent in Dutch/French and English, both orally and in writing.

Desired Skills:

• Strong knowledge of architectural integration patterns (services, API, event-driven architecture) and concepts (SOA, componentization, microservices, micro front-ends).
• Extensive experience with architecture modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., Archimate, Orbus).
• Cross-application development knowledge (React Native, React.js).
• Good knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.
