Senior Analytics Business Partner

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Business Partner to play a key role in a two-phase analytics transformation within a digital bank.

• Phase 1 focuses on Core Banking Renewal (CBR), ensuring that new core banking data is correctly translated into existing business-ready analytics, KPIs, and reporting for operational and regulatory stakeholders.
• Phase 2 focuses on the migration from Power BI Report Server to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring a smooth business transition to modern, cloud-based self-service analytics.

This role is business-facing, combining strong analytics expertise with stakeholder management and change leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Phase 1: Core Banking Renewal (CBR)
  • Act as an analytics partner for business teams impacted by the new core banking system.
  • Translate new core banking data structures into business KPIs, metrics, and reporting.
  • Support parallel run and reconciliation from a business and reporting perspective.
  • Ensure continuity of critical operational, regulatory, and management reporting.
• Phase 2: Power BI Report Server → Fabric Migration
  • Own the business roadmap for migration from Power BI Report Server to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Identify, prioritize, and sequence dashboards and reports for migration.
  • Validate functional equivalence, performance, and usability post-migration.
  • Drive adoption of Fabric-based Power BI analytics across business teams.
• Business Partnership & Delivery
  • Act as a trusted analytics partner for Finance, Operations, Risk, Marketing, etc.
  • Translate business needs into clear analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Prioritize analytics initiatives based on value, urgency, and regulatory impact.
  • Ensure use of governed and certified datasets.
  • Support training, coaching, change management, and user adoption.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Senior experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven involvement in Core Banking Renewal or large banking transformation programs.
• Proven involvement in Power BI Report Server → Fabric migration projects.
• Experience with Wherescape is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of Azure-based analytics platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Understanding of data governance and reporting best practices.
• Fluent in English.
