For a client, we are seeking an IT Strategy Architect to join a robust IT Architecture team. This role is pivotal in shaping the overall IT strategy and ensuring the future-proofing of IT systems with effectiveness and efficiency.

End Date: 31/01/2026

Work Location: Brussel (Expectation: 50% on-site & 50% homeworking)

Responsibilities:

• Network with senior architects to refine the ambitions of the IT Strategy & Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders to capture key strategy topics, including ambitions, constraints, conflicting roadmaps, main enablers, pre-requisites, and key actions.
• Document roadmaps, action plans, and proposals.
• Support senior architects and projects in gap analysis and impact analysis.
• Assist in transversal portfolio management and prepare budget requests for architecture-triggered projects.
• Lead ad hoc architecture studies.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant enterprise architecture experience with a focus on IT strategy topics.
• Technical experience in IT architecture across a mix of legacy and current digital technologies.
• Preferably, experience in IT architecture within simplification and rationalization contexts.
• Preferable exposure to financial services.

Skills:

• Proficiency in enterprise architecture activities.
• Ability to interview various stakeholders and capture all relevant information.
• Ability to deliver compelling messages and prepare company buy-in in an agile at scale context.
• Hands-on approach to preparing budget requests matching the proposed strategy topics.

Language Proficiency:

• Dutch: Fluent in French or Dutch.
• French: Fluent in Dutch or French.
• English: Good command is mandatory (working language).

Education:

• IT background with enterprise architecture experience.
