Product Owner - Salesforce Marketing Automation & Data Cloud

For a client, we are seeking a Product Owner - Salesforce Marketing Automation & Data Cloud to join our dynamic team. This individual will be a hands-on leader with strong communication and project management skills, as well as an assertive mindset. The role requires expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud, encompassing both strategy and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring alignment with organizational goals, scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Lead Vendor selection and RFQ process to ensure the platform meets organizational goals and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with Customer Engagement Marketing (CEM), IT OCA, and external vendors to align with CDP strategy and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture, data needs, integration requirements, and implementation timelines.
  • Capture requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of CDP capabilities.
  • Promote adoption and usage of CDP in collaboration with several agencies.
  • Evaluate and implement solutions for cookie-less targeting in compliance with global standards.
  • Partner with marketing, IT, and external vendors to deploy tracking mechanisms that enhance audience segmentation and campaign performance.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a product owner role with experience in SCRUM/agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience working with marketing automation and Customer Data Platform (CDP) tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation tools and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated success in the implementation of marketing automation solutions.
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to plan effectively and meet deadlines.
  • High degree of independence in driving forward activities against targets.
  • Problem-solving skills with strong strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) & Data Cloud (DC).
  • Experience with BI tools and Datorama is a plus.

This is a full-time position with the possibility of remote work, including some mandatory collaboration days. The role is based in Brussel, and candidates must be able to speak, understand, and write English fluently.
