Mission Context:

Join the Analytics team within the Marketing and Communication department to provide predictive AI models that enhance campaign impact and efficiency. The focus is on optimizing customer reach and relevance while augmenting employee capabilities in the campaigning process.

Function Description:

We are looking for a medior/senior data scientist with a proven track record in building and deploying data science models to support marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include:

• Addressing business challenges by creating AI models to enhance client experiences, empower employees, and optimize internal processes.
• Utilizing analytical methodologies within predictive AI, including large language models, classical statistical/machine learning techniques, and uplift modeling.
• Capturing business needs, performing data analyses, building models, and identifying target groups to achieve business objectives.
• Advising and supporting Marketing & Communications Managers on predictive model usage.
• Presenting complex technical concepts as clear, actionable insights.
• Overseeing production runs from data preparation to scoring and validation of AI models.
• Maintaining and monitoring model performance to detect quality issues.
• Supporting data engineering and continuous improvement cycles of models.
• Demonstrating extensive experience in Python and deploying AI models using a comprehensive stack of tools.
• Applying guidelines and best practices for responsible AI.
• Collaborating with a motivated team of data scientists.

Language Requirements:

• English: Fluent spoken and written
• Dutch: Fluent/Good level OR French: Fluent/Good level

Education:

Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science. Candidates with other academic backgrounds and substantial experience in data science are encouraged to apply.

Required Experience/Knowledge:

At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Strong expertise in Python, Python data science environment (e.g., deep learning), Git, bash, SQL.
• Preferable: Experience with Domino Data Science Platform, SAS, recommender systems, language models, optimization under constraints, Django.

Business Experience:

• Preferable: Experience in campaigning, direct marketing, A/B testing.
