For a client we are seeking a Senior Performance Tester to join the QA team.

Start: February/March
Location: Mechelen (2days onsite, 3 days remote)

Responsibilities:

• Engage daily in initiative intake and performance needs assessment.
• Collaborate in an agile manner with business and technical teams.
• Manage stakeholders across all levels.
• Perform administrative tasks using Jira and Confluence.
• Work with and guide an offshore team in India.
• Follow up on deliverables and track progress.
• Support quarterly release cycles and ensure timely delivery.
• Translate technical issues into business-friendly language.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of total professional experience.

• At least 2 years in a performance testing environment.
• Recent hands-on experience in testing within operational environments.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong background in load and performance testing.
• Ability to identify pain points and improve adoption.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into simple business language.
• Assertiveness and ability to challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with JMeter for performance scripting.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working with offshore teams.
• Experience in the telecom sector.
