Software Specialist – Integration & Solution Design

Responsibilities:

• Integrate customer requirements by performing and coordinating configurations of various software components.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses to determine which requirements can be met through configuration and which require custom development.
• Define functional and technical requirements for custom development.
• Demonstrate expertise in specific software components and their integration into other systems.
• Coordinate with other functional and technical platforms during the development phase.
• Define and evaluate technical requirements for RFPs and contribute to functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure software adherence to internal IT standards and contribute to solution architecture.
• Support testers with preparation and execution of test scenarios for specific features.

Operations:

• Contribute to Incident and Problem Management with functional and domain expertise.
• Support the dev team in organizing software maintenance and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with other platforms during the operational phase as needed.

Product Management:

• Propose and review evolutions to the software's functional and technical roadmap.
• Support the Tech Lead in providing IT cost estimations and advice on required IT profiles.
• Assist the Product Owner in license negotiations and SLA definitions.
• Support supplier management.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software integration or solution management.
• In-depth knowledge of specific software solutions and their capabilities.
• Experience with fit-gap analysis and defining functional and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and IT standards.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively in English.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team spirit and customer-oriented approach.
