Data Architect Azure

Location: East Flanders

On-Site Requirements: Full-time, 3 to 4 days on-site

Responsibilities:

• Provide architecture leadership and support within the end-to-end lifecycle of managing data.
• Offer technical leadership, participate in development efforts, and represent the full internal and external capabilities of the platform.
• Actively participate in the architects guild to oversee data management processes and provide guidance and direction to development teams, including design, documentation, maintenance, enhancements, and validation.
• Design and document robust solutions, aligning them in a complex stakeholder landscape, and implement them practically.
• Coach and share knowledge with team members to elevate their skills.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in one of the following development tracks: Analytics & BI development, data analysis, data engineering, platforms administration.
• Experience with Azure Cloud platform around data (Databricks, ADLS storage, SQL DB) and familiarity with technologies like Python or Spark.
• Experience with Angular, ADF, Power BI is an advantage.
• Experience in defining and owning end-to-end scalable Data Architecture, considering enterprise architecture and standards.
• Participation in the development of architectures, strategies, and policies around data, including data governance, master data management, metadata management, data quality, and data security.
• Ability to develop, document, and maintain logical and physical data models.
• Experience working closely with multiple internal teams, including compliance, privacy, risk, information security, support, and operations, to ensure all business requirements are considered in the design process.
• Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to quickly understand organizational complexity and work effectively in a complex and international landscape.
• Eagerness to build domain business knowledge and translate it into technical solutions.

Desired Skills:

• Strong soft skills and the ability to communicate and work with any type of person.
• French language proficiency is a plus.

Methodology:

• Ability to work according to Agile/sAFE methodology.
