IT Project Manager (Part-time) Position

For a client, we are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (part-time) to support a migration from an on-premise supply chain application to a SaaS solution.

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a migration from an on-premise supply chain application to a SaaS (cloud) platform. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the migration and will work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners. The ideal candidate should have experience with enterprise SaaS/cloud transformations and be comfortable operating in a supply chain environment with complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of an on-premise to SaaS migration project.
• Define and control project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams (IT, business, data, integration) and external vendors/integrators.
• Oversee data migration activities.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, including mitigation and rollback plans.
• Drive stakeholder communication, status reporting, and governance structures.
• Ensure alignment with business processes and operational readiness.
• Manage go-live and transition to support and operational teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager on enterprise software implementations or cloud/SaaS migrations.
• Hands-on experience managing on-premise to SaaS/cloud transitions.
• Solid understanding of system integrations and data migration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and system integrators.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
