Role Description:

The Technical Lead plays a crucial role within the Center of Expertise Application Development & Maintenance (COE ADM). This position focuses on creating and documenting development guidelines and best practices, ensuring their adoption and implementation across the IT landscape with a primary focus on the Benelux IT Delivery Factory. The role involves supporting developers, providing coaching and mentoring, and facilitating effective communication with both IT and non-IT stakeholders. Additionally, the Technical Lead contributes to IT4IT projects managed directly within the CoE. Hands-on development is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring practical application of guidelines and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and document guidelines and best practices for development.
• Ensure buy-in and follow-up on the implementation of guidelines in the agile tribes.
• Support developers in the tribes, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
• Collaborate with other technical leaders to ensure transversal alignment to cover mutual requirements.
• Manage IT stakeholders by engaging with local IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Act as a local ambassador for group initiatives and requirements in the scope of development.
• Represent the CoE ADM team in the Change Management Board to validate change requests.
• Report to the Head of COE ADM with close collaboration with the IT Tribe Leads.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: At least one local language (FR or NL)
• French: At least one local language (FR or NL)
• English: Sound knowledge of English as well as (at least) one local language

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Mastery of programming languages (Java), techniques, good practices, and standards
• Delivery management (preferable)
• Software architecture (mandatory)
• DevOps expertise and cloud knowledge (mandatory)
• Security acumen
• Experience with Scrum (preferable)
• Banking/financial sector experience
