Senior System Administrator

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior System Administrator to lead the development and evolution of the organization’s software and systems infrastructure. As a Senior System Administrator, you will work with the team to ensure the reliability, performance, and modernization of server environments. You will be part of a bilingual, interdisciplinary team and collaborate closely with experts in telecommunications interception, infrastructure engineering, and IT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain server environments (Windows/Linux).
• Manage Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Monitor and optimize virtualized environments (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V).
• Ensure system security, patching, backups, and business continuity.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of robust, scalable system architectures.
• Automate recurring tasks using scripting tools (Python, Powershell, Pearl, Ansible).
• Collaborate with network, security, and support teams to ensure end-to-end system reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues (software or system-related).
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, assess risks, and escalate when needed.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and application components.
• Work effectively in a multilingual, interdisciplinary environment.
• Contribute as a team player while being fully capable of working independently.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in system administration (Windows and Linux).
• Solid skills in virtualization, storage, and security.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python or equivalent).
• Understanding of infrastructure components (network, security, identity management).

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, or equivalent professional experience.
