Test Coordinator Position

Role Description:
The Test Coordinator will be responsible for defining, coordinating, and ensuring the execution of all testing activities within a large-scale remediation program. This includes end-to-end process validation, integration testing, data quality testing, and functional acceptance testing. The role requires strong coordination capabilities, a high level of risk awareness, transversal collaboration across teams, and a no-nonsense delivery mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy & Test Planning:
- Develop a program-wide test strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and audit expectations.
- Define a test plan that accounts for dependencies across all delivery tracks.
- Determine test scenarios, test prerequisites, and test data requirements.
- Plan test phases, including component testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and end-to-end validation.
- Coordination & Alignment:
- Coordinate testers across multiple teams (IT, Data, Risk, Business, etc.).
- Align with stream leads and solution designers to understand the testing impact of changes.
- Organize daily/weekly test status meetings and report on progress and blockers.
- Test Execution & Deliverables:
- Ensure complete, repeatable, and well-documented test cases.
- Coordinate test data provisioning (synthetic, scrambled, or production-derived data).
- Ensure test results are fully traceable to requirements, design artifacts, and regulatory findings.
- Manage the defect lifecycle: logging, prioritization, follow-up, and regression testing.
- Quality & Risk Management:
- Identify testing gaps and risks (e.g., missing test data, incomplete interfaces).
- Provide go/no-go recommendations for progression to the next test phase or production.
- Ensure documentation complies with audit, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the central point of contact for all test-related matters.
- Align business, IT, and regulatory expectations.
- Prepare test status reporting for the Steering Committee / Program Board.
Required Competencies:
- Professional Skills:
- Strong experience in complex, transversal IT and business programs.
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Experience with regulatory remediation, audit, and compliance initiatives.
- Knowledge of data validation, reconciliations, integration testing, and end-to-end chain testing.
- Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA), test management tools, and test data management.
