Smart Grid Project Manager

Role:

This position is part of an energy transition program aimed at addressing environmental and technological challenges. The Smart Grid sub-program focuses on the implementation of solutions within technical professions, improving the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of electrical networks. The projects will cover themes such as renewable energy integration, smart demand management and energy flow optimization, using modern technologies like AI and Machine Learning.

Key responsibilities:

Support the project sponsor and initiate projects by aligning stakeholders on objectives, scope and impacts.
Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders, including trades, architects and application teams.
Plan projects by allocating resources and skills for proper execution.
Lead project committees and coordinate the project team.
Monitor the execution of the project, ensuring that it respects the scope, schedule and budget.
Deliver projects with quality, expected gains and within the budget.
Manage dependencies and interfaces with other projects/applications.
Address and resolve project issues, implementing the necessary actions.
Anticipate and manage risks.

Qualifications and experience:

5-7 years experience in project management with Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
Experience in web and data project management.
Proven ability to cover all project dimensions and stakeholders (business, IT, legal, procurement).
Experience of collaboration with engineering/technical profiles.
Strong pragmatism, common sense and adaptability.
Proactive, assertive and able to maintain an overview.
Conviction of the importance of the energy transition and desire to have a positive impact on this strategic priority.
Experience in the energy sector, ideally with a network manager.

Desired skills:

Certification in project management.
Experience in data/analytical oriented projects.
Experience in managing web or mobile application development projects.
Experience in the energy sector.
Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams (business, IT, legal).
Experience with projects under strong regulatory constraints.
Proven experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
Interest in the energy transition.
Mastery of Jira and Microsoft Office 365 (Teams).
French proficiency at level C1.
