Part-time (20h/week) Medior Cloud Engineer / Application Support Engineer

For a client in Brussels, we are looking for a Medior Cloud Engineer / Application Support Engineer for a long-term assignment.

Assignment Information:

• Start Date: 02/03/2026
• End Date: 31/12/2026
• Hours per week: 20 hours/week (part-time)

Core Tasks:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, implementation, and optimization of Azure cloud environments
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform and Azure Verified Modules
  • High availability, scalability, and cost optimization
• Containerization & Orchestration:
  • Management of (cloud-managed) Kubernetes clusters
  • Development of Helm charts
  • Troubleshooting of containerized workloads
• Security & Compliance:
  • IAM, network segmentation, encryption
  • Vulnerability assessments & remediation
  • Working according to ISO, SOC, GDPR standards
• DevOps & Automation:
  • CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git)
  • Automation of deployments and operational tasks
  • Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana stack)
• Support & Operations:
  • Incident handling & root-cause analysis
  • Monitoring, performance optimization
  • Technical support for product teams
  • Participation in on-call rotations (if required)

• Strong experience with Azure Cloud Platform

  • Logic App
  • Azure Firewall
  • Azure VPN Gateway
  • Azure Monitoring
• Knowledge of:
  • Kubernetes, containers, Helm
  • Terraform / IaC
  • Microservices architecture
  • Security principles & compliance frameworks
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting: Terraform, Powershell / Bash / Python

Language Requirements:

• English: fluent (must)
• Additional languages (FR/NL/DE) are a plus
