Mission Context
The role involves working within the Repatriation Team to enhance current workflows and mitigate risks associated with transactions from sensitive countries. The team is responsible for analyzing, accepting, or rejecting international transactions within Retail, Private, and Wealth segments. This includes managing follow-ups with clients or relationship managers to gather necessary documentation and ensuring proper archiving of files. Suspicious cases must be escalated to AML Operations. A strong understanding of personal tax aspects is essential due to the sensitive nature of the information handled.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage international transactions.
- Communicate with clients and relationship managers to collect necessary information.
- Ensure accurate archiving of transaction files.
- Escalate suspicious transactions to AML Operations.
- Report to management.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Tax.
- At least 2.5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of personal tax matters.
- Experience in AML and tax analysis processes.
- Ability to quickly learn internal tools.
- Discretion and confidentiality are crucial.
