Opportunity: Classic ASP Developer

Location: Full-time – Region Willebroek (Hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days per week in the office)

About the Role

We are looking for a developer with experience in Classic ASP to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with and provide support to our internal IT manager in further developing and maintaining our in-house built ‘middleware’. You will also have direct contact with various external customers and stakeholders connected to this application. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting the functionality and operation of the tool, ensuring clear and structured information for future reference.

Your Responsibilities

• Development Support: Assist the IT manager with the development, testing, and implementation of new features, integrations, and system connections.
• Technical Support: Provide assistance in troubleshooting reported issues and resolving potential bugs to ensure smooth system operation.
• Migration Support: Assist in transitioning our application to a new Windows Server 2022 (on-premise) environment, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration process.
• Documentation: Document the functionality and processes of the existing application, mapping out this legacy system for future reference and structured documentation.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced developer with several years of hands-on expertise, preferably with proven experience in logistics.
• Classic ASP Expertise: Experience with Classic ASP is essential.
• Independent and Proactive: Capable of working in a small team, taking ownership, and driving initiatives forward.
• Strong Communicator: Able to translate complex IT concepts into clear, business-friendly explanations.
• Team Player: Collaborates effectively and knows when to delegate.
• Medior or Senior Level: While a senior profile is welcome, a strong medior developer would also be a great fit.
