Opportunity: Technical Analyst / Developer Cobol

For a client, we are seeking a Technical Analyst / Developer Cobol.

Period:

Immediately – 31/12/2026

Location:

Brussels

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and keep legacy applications operational in collaboration with the ICT team.
• In consultation with the client and the ICT team, formulate solutions to improve or expand the systems.

Required IT Skills:

• Development in Cobol with API of TPX and ded SQL (PRO*Cobol).
• SQL Oracle - SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader.
• Extract data from the database for reporting and management.
• Ability to technically analyze existing Cobol code.

Desired Skills:

• Functional analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of WebDev / WinDev is a plus, or willingness to learn it.
• Linux is a plus.

Language Skills:

Dutch and French.

Soft Skills:

• Team player.

Technical Skills:

• Cobol + TPX.
• Jira / Confluence (optional).
• SQL Database - SQL Plus - SQL Loader.
• WebDev / WinDev (optional).
