For a client we are seeking a 1st & 2nd Line Support Specialist

Start Date: 25/11/2024
End Date: 31/03/2026
Location: Brussel

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support services including call and mail intake.
  • Create and follow up on tickets in the Helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Execute various technical actions based on established processes and checklists.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Windows 10 and 11, including use, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Familiarity with software such as MS Visio and Adobe products.
  • Understanding of DOS commands.
  • User management experience with Active Directory.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Basic knowledge of VOIP.
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking concepts including VLANs, POE, Wifi, 802.1x, and horizontal cabling.
  • Familiarity with videoconferencing, domotica in meeting rooms, and troubleshooting at a basic level for smartphones and GPRS.
  • Basic understanding of Wifi.
  • Experience with staging hardware focused on user needs (PCs, etc.).
  • Knowledge of hardware including PCs, printers, and peripherals.
  • Basic understanding of VPN, IT network topology, VM Ware, and software virtualization.
