DevOps Coach Expert (Test Oriented)

Role Description:
The DevOps Coach Expert will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing the software development process by focusing on a people-centric approach. The role involves supporting the IT organization through process improvement, coaching, training, technical leadership, and tooling to support the end-to-end value stream of in-house software development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist product development teams in adopting best practices for developing, testing, deploying, and releasing applications.
- Enhance team deliverables by training and assisting in analyzing current situations and building improvement plans.
- Collaborate with squads and other DevOps coaches to improve processes and resolve key pain points.
- Facilitate relationships with tools teams and help development teams use available tools effectively.
- Focus on best practices and techniques around testing.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong development profile with proven coaching experience.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Mandatory knowledge of testing techniques/practices such as TDD/BDD.
- Proficient in CI/CD processes and best practices.
- Experience with testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Karate.
- Proven knowledge of cloud technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience working in or with Agile development teams and frameworks.
- Experience in impact mapping, story mapping, and example mapping.
- Experience in different software development models.
- Experience in administration, setup, and maintenance of continuous build and integration platforms.
- Experience in Java development and build.
- Experience with source code (Git) and artifact repositories (Nexus).
- Experience with scripting languages for automation.
Languages:
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an important plus.
