For a client we are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Officer to provide support in the modernization, digitalization, and automation of finance processes.

End Date: 31/12/2025
Work Location: Brussel
Telework Expectation: 50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Responsibilities:

• Support the Segregation of Duties analysis.
• Transfer operational tasks of Finance to the Operations department.
• Document processes and support E-invoicing implementation.
• Contribute to the modernization and digitalization of the finance department.
• Propose improvements to controls and support internal audit missions.
• Analyze and propose methods to reduce manual entries.
• Learn operational tasks (Lettrage/Payments), document current processes, and suggest improvements.
• Act as a backup during staff absences.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, accounting, or a similar qualification.
- Over 3 years of relevant experience.

Technical Experience:

Mandatory:

• Knowledge of accounting.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Access.

Preferable:

• Experience with accounting tools and AP automation.

Business Experience:

Mandatory:

• Knowledge of the banking sector is an asset.

Preferable:

• Experience in a banking environment.
