Tester Service/Project Opportunity

Job Description:

Our client is shaping a test organization to support internal services and projects, as well as external customers. The ambition is to minimize the impact of incidents and failures on the business. As a Tester Service/Project, you will be part of a team that ensures quality releases and successful project deliveries, in close collaboration with a vendor. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform sanity and regression tests within the set timelines.
• Test design and execution of changes (functional testing).
• Correctly log defects in HP ALM.
• Retest defects after resolution and handle administrative tasks correctly.
• Transfer knowledge to backup testers and analysts in a clear and structured manner.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, update regression test sets.
• Correctly log incidents for technical issues in the SAT environment.
• Actively participate in stand-ups and team meetings.
• The assignment is extendable depending on necessity.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Possession of an ISTQB certificate (Foundation or higher).
• Proactive reporting to TestCo on test progress and defect status.
• Proven good knowledge of French and Dutch (minimum B1).
• Proven knowledge of English (minimum C1); must be able to communicate in English (project language).
• Extensive experience with manual sanity and regression tests.
• No problem with repetitive parts within test execution.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of XML, SQL, SOAPUI, ALM QC, Topdesk.
