IT Security Engineer – Endpoint Security & Configuration Management

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled IT System Engineer to take ownership of the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of enterprise security tools and endpoint management platforms. The role’s primary focus is to ensure a secure and compliant IT environment by implementing and maintaining solutions such as Trend Micro, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Office 365 Hardening, Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Cloud Application Control. This position requires strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to security, and the ability to work cross-functionally to implement and enforce security baselines and best practices across a hybrid IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage security solutions including:
- Trend Micro (Apex One / Vision One)
- Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools
- Office 365 hardening, security configurations, and compliance policies
- Cloud Application Control and SaaS access policies
- Define and maintain security baselines for Windows and mobile devices.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards through ongoing monitoring and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with other IT and security teams to drive integration and automation between tools and platforms.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, logs, and system notifications from the various platforms.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, policies, and incident response related to the managed tools.
- Stay current with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve organizational security posture.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding endpoint protection and device management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT system administration, endpoint security, or infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Trend Micro security solutions
- Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
- EDR platforms (e.g., Trend Micro, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint)
- Office 365 Security & Compliance Center
- MDM configuration for iOS and Android devices
- Solid understanding of security best practices, device hardening, and access control.
- Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting for automation.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-500, MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104)
- Experience with Azure AD Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Secure Score
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response workflows
- Exposure to compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR
