Senior UI Designer Position

Mission Description:
We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to join a multidisciplinary team working in Agile mode. As part of a digital transformation, the role involves digitalizing safety-related workflows and intervention planning in substations. The Senior UI Designer will support the replacement of legacy tools, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and business analysts to deliver high-impact UI solutions that enhance operational safety and efficiency. The role involves taking on complex design projects and playing a significant role in shaping the overall design strategy. Responsibilities include contributing to and enriching the design system, reviewing and validating new components, and challenging the design of others.
Mission Tasks:
- Collaborate closely with UX researchers using our Figma design system to create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
- Present ideas, concepts, and design solutions to various stakeholders.
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to Product Owners, UX Designers, and Developers.
- Prepare and animate ideation workshops and co-design with business, UX Designers, and users.
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success via measurable criteria.
- Create storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Contribute to team efforts by actively participating in broader UX Chapter activities such as feedback sharing sessions and knowledge sharing.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in UI Design, Interaction Design, and Information Architecture in an Agile development environment.
- Strong understanding of UI Patterns, design principles, and visual design.
- Attention to detail and delivery of high-standard work.
- Expertise in design software (Figma) as well as in Miro.
- Ability to use and contribute to the design system.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing design projects, emphasizing problem-solving abilities and the design process. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with an understanding of how designs translate to code.
