M365 Migration and Power Platform Expert

For a client, we are seeking an expert to support the migration from SharePoint Server 2019 to Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online) as part of a digital transformation initiative. The role also involves modernizing existing tools and processes using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

Start Date: 01/09/2025

End Date: 31/12/2025, with a possibility of extension

Location: Brussels (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop the approach, estimations, and project plan for migrating SharePoint Server 2019 to the cloud.
• Assess the current SharePoint Server 2019 environment, including inventory, technical architecture, and business usage.
• Design a comprehensive migration strategy to SharePoint Online, including roadmap and risk analysis.
• Identify and analyze custom business applications and workflows, including Workflows and Forms.
• Provide estimations for workload, costs, and required resources.
• Deliver a full project plan with phases, timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
• Recommend modernization scenarios using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Participate in technical workshops with IT and business stakeholders.
• Recommend and support the use of migration tools such as ShareGate.
• Understand integration points with external systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and include this in the project plan.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager, contributing to planning and estimations.
• Take ownership of technical design and define a concrete implementation plan.
• Produce high-quality deliverables such as the migration strategy document and the project management plan.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in creating deliverables like technical design, estimations, and a project management plan.
• Proven experience in creating solutions with Nintex Workflow and Forms (5 years).
• Proven experience in creating solutions with Power Automate (5 years).
• Proven experience in migrating business applications to the Power Platform.
• Proven experience with project management principles.
• Proven experience with SharePoint document management and information architecture (10 years).
• Proven experience with SharePoint migrations to the cloud.
• Proven experience with SharePoint Server 2019 (or SharePoint Server 2013/2016).
• Fluency in French or Dutch with at least an intermediate level in the second language.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven experience with integrations between Microsoft 365 and other systems like Salesforce and SAP.
• Proven experience with ShareGate.
