For a client, we are seeking a Senior Modern Endpoint Systems Engineer to join our team.

This role is a project-based position starting on January 20, 2025, and ending on July 31, 2026. The successful candidate will be required to work 50% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd line level support and perform troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Interact with vendors and IT personnel to solve problems.
• Conduct maintenance and system upgrades, including feature updates, driver updates, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Oversee system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Work within configuration and change management policies for changes awareness, approval, and success.
• Implement management tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the security team.
• Configure and install various devices and services.
• Engage in system engineering activities related to preparation, design, build, testing, installation, run, incident & problem handling.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures and share knowledge with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills in a Windows (10 and 11) environment.
• Good knowledge of modern device management technologies (Azure AD, Microsoft Intune management, Autopilot, M365, Virtual endpoint solutions).
• Ability to create Powershell scripts for Intune and Azure environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with ELK, Remote support tools, MacOs, IOS, Android, or printers is beneficial.
• Familiarity with security tools and Azure Fundamental services.
• Knowledge of 'safe and agile' methodologies, using ALM tools like Jira or Confluence.
• A 'security first' mindset.
