Context
We are looking for a new Scrum Master/tester to support and develop the scrum principles and values in an agile team (scrum master)  while taking the ownership of the quality of the deliveries (testing).
The team will be composed of 3 Java developers profiles one functional analysts, and a Scrum Master/ Tester.
A candidate with a strong leadership, very good soft skills and empathic profile is a must.
Additionally, a proven track record in building a strong testing strategy close to the business expert is needed. On the top of that, a proven XP in test automation is needed.
 
Responsabilités/verantwoordelijkheden
 
       As a team-member

• You take responsibility, together with the team, for delivering the user stories planned with the product owner.
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of the team from a technical and organizational perspective.

 
 
As a Scrum Master

• Facilitate the Scrum ceremonies and help the team reach its objectives. You are the “servant-leader” of the team.
• Support and challenge the team in its continuous improvement.
• Help the team implement and fine-tune the team agreements within the Scrum framework and principles.
• Being the first point of contact with management (Service Delivery Manager) makes you a key person to support the company vision and objectives within your team.
• Support company/department processes and agreements.
• Facilitate collaboration with other teams and departments.
• Solve impediments or escalate impediments to management when pertinent.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog management and sprint planning.

 
As a Tester

• You acquire, within a reasonable timeframe, mastery of business topics and processes. Your curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical approach will be key assets.
• You actively participate in the implementation of realistic and effective test scenarios.
• You use Selenium/Cucumber/Gherkin to set up non-regression tests.
• You can rely on developer support to link Gherkin statements with application code if needed. Proficiency in Java is a significant advantage.
• You are familiar with POSTMAN and SOAPUI for API testing.
• Knowledge of jMeter is an advantage.
• You are proficient in SQL and can easily manipulate data for test setup.
• You have a good understanding of Pipelines with Git and Jenkins.

 

• You develop your knowledge of application architecture to propose and execute realistic and effective testing.
• You can challenge business requirements and technical solutions.
• You provide the necessary transparency by adhering to team agreements regarding testing and quality.
• When necessary, you implement performance testing.
• You participate in the documentation of systems.
• You can collaborate effectively with different profiles: developers, analysts, business experts, infrastructure specialists, managers, etc.
