For a client, we are seeking a Release Officer to join the Operational Monitoring and Reporting Centre (OMRC) team. The OMRC plays a crucial role in safeguarding information systems against any intentional or accidental alterations that could affect their availability, integrity, and confidentiality. The team bridges management strategy with operational requirements, ensuring that security standards are consistently applied across the infrastructure. The role involves coordinating major releases for both applications and infrastructure, as well as assisting in organizing annual Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) exercises.

Responsibilities:

• Security monitoring and reporting
• Incident response
• Vulnerability management
• Hardening and access control
• Planning, scoping, and communicating activities with main stakeholders
• Coordination and preparation of activities with involved teams
• Reporting (KPI, dashboarding)

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Native speaker of Dutch or French, with a good command of the other language and English
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux OS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Defender (on-premises and cloud), Intune, and Sentinel
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS
• Knowledge of Qualys, Kibana, and/or Splunk is a plus
• Proficient in CIS Controls™ and ISO 27001 for a defense-in-depth strategy to protect data, systems, and networks (on-premises and in the cloud)
