Senior Test Analyst

Summary:

The Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for objectively measuring the quality of developed software and ensuring compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases for functional and non-functional testing.
• Interpret test results and identify non-conformities.
• Prepare and store test data.
• Report on test activities and results.
• Follow up on defect corrections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of testing fundamentals equivalent to ISTQB Foundation.
• Advanced knowledge of test management tools.
• Proficiency in BDD and Cucumber.
• Strong communication skills.

Activities:

• Understand application purposes and requirements.
• Participate in estimates during PID.
• Review and challenge use cases, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Validate functional documentation.
• Initiate interaction with GATB and facilitate initiation meetings.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide tester insights.
• Estimate and communicate testing efforts during sprint planning.
• Write BDD and system testing scenarios.
• Organize and manage the test case library.
• Execute system testing and document bugs.
• Generate reports on testing activities.
• Validate BDD implementation.
• Follow up on knowledge transfer with GATB.
• Qualify bugs identified by GATB.
• Participate in R&D activities and suggest improvements.
