Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Brussels

Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support the transformation to a product-centric organization and operating model. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a scaled agile environment, preferably LeSS, and will guide two teams through the transition from component to newly-formed cross-functional feature teams. Additionally, the Scrum Master will inspire and coach other Scrum Masters from different teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide teams through the transition to cross-functional feature teams.
• Coach and inspire new Scrum Masters with limited experience in scaled agile environments.
• Promote self-organization, agile principles, and continuous improvement to enhance team autonomy and performance.
• Assist teams in identifying and addressing impediments while removing systemic obstacles.
• Foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders, including product owners, analysts, developers, and business users.
• Maintain a sustainable team pace, balancing delivery goals with team well-being.
• Support the Product Owner in maintaining a transparent backlog.
• Drive improvements in agile practices and tools.
• Facilitate cross-team alignment, knowledge sharing, and dependency management.
• Promote shared agile practices and synchronize ways of working.
• Encourage a culture of accountability, learning, and mutual respect.
• Support talent development and continuous growth within the team.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a scaled agile environment, preferably LeSS.
• Certification in a scaled agile framework (e.g., LeSS, SAFe) is required; other agile certifications (PSM I/II, CSM) are a plus.
• Strong change management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with agile delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and agile delivery pipelines is a plus.
• Experience in other roles within a software delivery environment (e.g., QA, developer, analyst, support).
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
