Role Description:

As a Product Owner, you will represent stakeholders and the voice of the customers, capturing their expectations, preferences, and aversions according to the Scrum methodology. You will work closely with the Scrum Master and Development Team as part of the Scrum Team. Your responsibilities will include expressing and prioritizing product needs using a Product Backlog and ensuring the Development Team's understanding of the product and consistency of each Sprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Design the product's big picture, including its roadmap, and translate this to the development team.
  • Clarify needs and draft key functional specifications according to agile methodology.
  • Plan iterations and define priorities to ensure proper content delivery.
  • Define priorities and monitor the Product Backlog, continuously prioritizing key business needs.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment on the product to be delivered.
  • Initiate priority management, ensuring product consistency and quality.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (agile retrospectives, demos, test labs).
  • Make decisions or arbitrate on delivered functionalities.
  • Conduct Sprints Backlog live adjustments and follow-up.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of budget management and project management is preferable.
  • Ability to see the overall picture (strategic thinking).
  • Analytical mind and conceptual thinking.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Structured approach with attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented and open to change.
  • Leadership skills.

Language Requirements:

  • Dutch: Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.
  • French: Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.
  • English: Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.

Education/Certification:

Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies are preferred.

Work Arrangement:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
