Technical Agile Coach

Location: Brussels

Start Date: As soon as possible, ideally on 05/01/2026

Duration: Full-time for a period of 3 months, with the intention to extend for at least 3 more months

On-site Requirement: 3 days per week

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Agile Coach to support the transformation to a product-centric organization and operating model. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a scaled agile environment, preferably LeSS. You will work alongside other Agile Coaches to guide teams in adapting, collaborating, and delivering value efficiently. Your mandate is to bridge the gap between Agile processes and Engineering culture, focusing on facilitating software solution design and delivery in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and Mentor: Guide new Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and frameworks.
• Drive Business-Value Product Ownership: Lead teams in aligning product decisions with strategic business objectives to maximize value, coaching them on prioritization strategies and feature alignment.
• Cross-Team Learning: Promote and facilitate cross-learning between teams to break down silos.
• Introduce Engineering Best Practices: Support teams in adopting engineering best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps culture.
• Boost Efficiency: Reduce the response time of reliable solutions to concrete business needs.
• Implement & Support Business Metrics: Assist in implementing technical metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Expertise:

• Over 10 years of experience in software solution design and delivery, with a background as a developer or architect.
• Deep practical knowledge of scaled agile systems, preferably LeSS.
• Ability to quickly become productive in new, complex business domains.
• Understanding that technical transformation is a people transformation, with the ability to connect with operational technicians, middle management, and strategic leadership.
• Experience working in a multi-team environment, creating an inclusive environment, and managing conflicts.
• Practical experience in:
  • Architecture: Solid grounding in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Testing Strategy: Expertise in (A)TDD and writing expressive automated test suites as living documentation.
  • Delivery Flow: Experience with Continuous Trunk-Based Delivery.
  • Visual Communication: Communicating architecture via techniques like C4.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
