Transversal Project Manager (IT)

Role Description:

As an IT Project Manager, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined objectives. You will work within a Tribe organized in Agile Scrum mode, under the responsibility of your IT Tribe Lead, in a demanding environment where service quality, regulatory compliance, and information systems security are top priorities. Your role will involve coordinating and overseeing deliveries across various squads, ensuring commitments are met, and aligning teams with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee deliveries across the Tribe's various squads in collaboration with IT Tribe leads.

  • Ensure commitments are met regarding deadlines, quality, and budget.
  • Identify and remove impediments blocking project progress.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with security standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams.
  • Produce dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery tracking.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present progress updates at steering committees and governance meetings.

Language Requirements:

  • Dutch: Fluent

  • French: Fluent
  • English: Fluent

Education and Certifications:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Project Management, or Business Administration.

  • Agile Project Management Certification.
  • Product Owner certification is a plus.
  • Lean or Six Sigma knowledge.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management, including at least 3 years in an Agile environment.

  • Experience in the banking sector is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and associated tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Proven experience in project management and delivery management.
  • Experience with banking back-end systems and document management solutions.
  • Experience with banking operations teams is preferable.
