Mission Context

The iOPS/DevOps Engineer will be responsible for establishing the cloud environment for both legacy and new assets.

Function Description

• Deploy using automation tools such as Jenkins and Digital AI Deployment Automation for Middleware, Database, and Web products with Terraform.
• Utilize DevOps concepts, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Delivery, Continuous Testing, and Process Automation.
• Expertise in Linux, Shell, and Python programming.
• Experience with infrastructure components and tools, including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, Helmchart, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Containers (Docker), PostgreSQL, Redis, CFT, etc.
• Build & Deployment Automation (Ansible, etc.)
• Release Orchestration (App. Package, runbooks, release pipeline/workflow, etc.)
• Continuous Integration Platform: Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, SVN, Git, etc.
• Support Development, Testing, Quality & Collaboration through enabling tooling.
• Cloud enabling: transitioning to Cloud.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Telework Expectation

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience / Knowledge

• At least 6 years of relevant experience (preferably 1-3 years with IBM cloud)
• Strong practical knowledge of production environments, both hardware and software
• Solid technical knowledge of cloud, Java, and containers
• Understanding of architecture rules and standards
• Familiarity with development languages useful for architecture challenges and technical support, preferably Springboot, NodeJS, DigitalAI, Jenkins, Ansible, Helmchart, Terraform, IBM - BNPP cloud (dMZR)

Business Experience

• Knowledge of project methodology and standards
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Practical experience with Scrum
