We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a strategic transformation program aimed at modernizing core back-office systems related to disability services. The program is large-scale, touching on multiple key domains such as Product Handling, Financial Management, data integration, and external service platforms.
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of analysts, architects, and developers and be instrumental in translating complex legal and operational processes into practical IT solutions.
Act as a strategic liaison between business and IT teams.
Analyze and map business processes, data flows, and stakeholder needs.
Gather and document functional requirements, define story maps, and create high-level analysis of solution components.
Work closely with the Product Owner to refine backlog items and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Collaborate with technical architects to align solutions with enterprise and system architecture.
Ensure functional integration with internal and external modules, including citizen portals and data platforms.
Maintain clear documentation and facilitate structured communication across all levels of the organization.
Monitor scope, time, and quality to help deliver a minimum viable product (MVP) within defined constraints.
Participate in cross-functional team planning and contribute to iterative development in an Agile environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in business analysis.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with BPM tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io) and notations (BPMN, CMMN).
Comfortable navigating complex legislative and regulatory environments.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles.
Previous experience in social security, healthcare, or government services.
Proven track record in designing scalable and user-centric process improvements.
Experience in project environments with cross-departmental and stakeholder involvement.
