Senior Product Owner Position

Work Regime: Full-time, with a minimum of 2 days on-site

Role Description:

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join the Hybrid Infrastructure tribe. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and IT, helping the organization advance into the Digital Age. The Product Owner will be responsible for the product strategy, maximizing value, and prioritizing activities within the product squads to ensure stability and efficient change.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of business objectives and processes to make informed product prioritization and improvement recommendations, focusing on cost optimization.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with stakeholders and customers to shape product strategy and identify and prioritize needs.
• Lead product strategy, planning, and lifecycle management activities. Monitor trends to keep product strategy up-to-date and propose new solutions.
• Create product roadmaps and release plans that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
• Translate product needs into concrete product backlogs for the product squads.
• Monitor product performance and initiate activities to improve products.
• Guide the product engineering team in scoping, planning, and delivering work using established methodologies and best practices.
• Identify and resolve obstacles to achieving business objectives, including cost optimization and technical challenges.
• Ensure alignment and compliance with financial, business, and IT standards.
• Manage investment decisions and finances for the product with a focus on return-on-investment.
• Participate in squad ceremonies to guide prioritization and clarify customer needs.
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding delivery speed and reprioritizations.

Technical Profile Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Product Owner role in the IT sector, preferably in Hybrid Infrastructure.
• Experience in overseeing infrastructure products related to IT Security & Networking and Server Infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience using data to inform decision-making.
• Strong experience in understanding business partner and customer needs.
• Proven success in defining and building products.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Very good knowledge of Agile methods, preferably as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.

Excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, with the ability to follow conversations in the other language. English is a must-have.
