Business Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements from the Risk department into detailed specifications.
- Conduct functional analysis to convert business requirements into system requirements.
- Perform technical analysis to translate business requirements into pseudo-code.
- Implement algorithms used by Risk in C# (FACT).
- Develop SQL queries (Sybase IQ) for report development.
- Utilize SQL queries (SQL Server, Oracle) for testing and analysis.
- Document data transformation (ETL) rules.
Language Requirements:
- Dutch: Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing (required at least for either Dutch or French).
- French: Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing (required at least for either Dutch or French).
- English: Fluent in writing, good in speaking & understanding.
Education:
- Graduate or college (university) degree preferred.
- Focus on mathematics in education or professional experience.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in functional analysis & development.
- Experience in large-scale IT development with C# and SQL.
- Expertise in data/process analysis, requirements documentation, and testing.
- Medium to expert knowledge of standard MS tools and technologies: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
- Thorough SQL experience.
- Functional/technical analysis skills.
- Testing capabilities preferable.
- Programming capabilities.
- Experience with XML/SOAP, C# programming, and MQ Series.
Business Experience:
- Experience working in a large company/complex business environment preferable.
- Credit/credit risk knowledge (Basel II, etc.).
- Economics and/or mathematics background.
