Job Description:

To strengthen the database integration team, we are looking for a senior Oracle DBA. The team handles the necessary DBMS/DBA design and operational activities in project, maintenance, and "Keep it Running" contexts, often in collaboration with external service providers. You will work with other database specialists on various challenges to optimize our clients' environments. As a database expert, you work meticulously, systematically, and according to standards. You are stress-resistant, communicate smoothly, and regularly consult with colleagues. Team players have an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Scripting, validation, and execution of database changes in the production environment.
• Management and maintenance of databases, support for requests, and validation of new databases.
• Active participation in Proactive Database monitoring and daily follow-up.
• Incident management and group administration.
• Active contribution to performance monitoring and SQL tuning.
• Participation in life cycle management, upgrades, migrations, and archiving.
• Providing technical recommendations for database management.
• Support in incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Participation in database refreshes and data security.
• Formulating GO/NOGO advice based on test plan and execution.
• Advisory role in projects for solution design and support of development teams.
• Solution and task-oriented approach.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration and organizing autonomous work.
• Developing standards and processes.
• Developing and defending vision in consultation with colleagues.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Exadata X8M - X10M, Oracle Golden Gate, ITIL, Linux, OEM, Oracle ASM, Oracle DataGuard, Oracle Partitioning, Oracle RAC, Oracle Tuning (5 years), SQL and PL-SQL (5 years), SQL-developer, ORACLE 19 or higher.
• Experience with PowerBuilder is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Spatial is a plus.
• Optimization and tuning of databases.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases (5 years).
• Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
• Experience with setting up databases and at least one operating system (Unix, Linux, Windows).
