Mission Context:
The Channels squad is responsible for supporting and maintaining infrastructure and solutions based on Websphere and Cloud services. This includes ordering infrastructural components and deploying new or updated applications on these platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
- Schedule and follow key steps of the methodology.
- Ensure smooth use of the Scrum methodology and assist the squad in overcoming obstacles.
- Support squad members by facilitating a healthy dynamic, respecting priorities and scope.
- Lead the squad's efforts towards continuous improvement.
- Remove barriers or assist the squad in removing barriers by contacting the right people.
- Proactively solve problems to keep the squad focused on their goals.
- Assist and support the team in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information.
- Protect the squad from unexpected work costs.
- Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
Language Requirements:
- Dutch: Fluent (optional)
- French: Fluent (optional)
- English: Very good
Education:
Bachelor/Master in Computer Sciences (or equivalent by experience)
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar function.
- A professional experience of at least 5 years.
- Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Rally, Jira) is preferable.
- Experience with an infrastructure environment is welcome.
- Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is preferable.
- Ability to work in an Agile Way Of Working.
