For a client we are seeking a Software Defined DataCenter (SDDC) Engineer

Start Date: 16/01/2025
Duration: 1 year, with possible extension
Working Regime: Fulltime
Location: Mechelen
Language Requirements: English (mandatory), Dutch (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python and the Django web framework.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to understand and integrate compute, storage, and firewall components.
• Contribute to the automation of various processes, including firewall requests and NAS infrastructure provisioning.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Mid/senior level experience as an SDDC Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Understanding of infrastructure components (Compute/VMware, storage, firewall).
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with HTML/CSS development and Ansible (AWX).
• Familiarity with GitLab.
• Knowledge of PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Cloudbolt, Moonshot).
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.

Must have skills:
