Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Coach to support the development and maintenance of foundational banking applications. The ideal candidate will facilitate an Agile working environment and help product development teams adopt best practices for developing, testing, deploying, and releasing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development squads and other DevOps coaches to enhance workflows and processes.
• Identify and address key pain points in the development process.
• Foster effective relationships with tool teams, ensuring development teams have the support and understanding needed to utilize tools effectively.
• Stay current with industry standards and advancements to propose meaningful evolutions and improvements.
• Train teams on software craftsmanship, trunk-based development, BDD/TDD CI/CD, value stream mapping, cloud, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, demonstrating flexibility, accuracy, and a control-minded approach.

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in implementing continuous build, integration, and deployment systems.
• Familiarity with various software development models.
• Administration, setup, and maintenance of continuous build and integration platforms.
• Java development and build experience.
• Proficiency with source code (SVN/Git) and artifact repositories (Nexus).
• Knowledge of code scanning tools (Sonar / Fortify) is a plus.
• Mobile development tools for Android and IOS platforms is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• A strong development profile with a proven coaching experience.
• Thorough experience working in or with Agile development teams.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and techniques such as impact mapping, story mapping, and example mapping.
